“Inspiring and equipping leaders and organizations to have legacy impact by developing their people and teams and cultivating a thriving culture of influence.” This is our mindset – our business worldview – and this is just the beginning.  

In 2018, Rodney Garber (founder), sold his business - Amish Family Food Distributors - and, during that process, realized that nothing trumps influence. Yet, in that realization, he wondered, "How many of us actually realize the full breadth and potential of our influence? And, are we even asking the right questions when it comes to figuring it out?" 

Cultivating and igniting influence is the driver of our consulting approach. It is rooted in our desire to see individuals and organizations give their circle of influence the best version of themselves.  

At Activate Your Influence, we begin client relationships with the simple, yet fundamental question of “Why?” This may seem elemental, but answering this question leads to uncovering passion and purpose which leads to defining (or redefining) vision. From there, the fun begins as we figure out the rest of the equation - identifying where organizations and individuals are now, claiming where they want to go, and crafting a strategic Activation Plan to get them there! Afterall, it's hard to get where you are going without knowing the desired destination!

We're probably not wearing expensive suits (maybe you'll find one of us with a nice jacket), we don't have a bazillion years of combined experience, we won't claim to know all the answers, and we won't tell you how to run your organization. Rather, we considered ourselves Peer Consultants – professionals that walk with and beside you as guides, advisors, mentors, and friends. 

As Peer Consultants, we consider it a privilege to lock arms with clients - asking insightful and tough questions, offering fresh and candid perspective, and engaging in strategic, action-oriented conversations. We do it all for the purpose of unleashing individuals and organizations’ fullest potential and influence so they can leave a legacy with far greater impact than just profit. And, through it all, we establish seasonal partnerships with lifelong relationships.

Consulting, coaching, and development can be a delight. Results can be achieved; expectations exceeded. However, none of it comes without sacrifice, hard work, and tough conversations. Our team is committed to giving you everything we have, leaving nothing on the table, and holding steadfast to our Foundational Values. In return, we expect our clients to do the same.
